In partnership with investor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Robert F. Smith, Grameen America opened a new branch location in Atlanta, launching operations in June 2022. This partnership allows us to expand our reach into the local community to support a greater number of entrepreneurial women of color.

To help bridge disproportionate gaps in financial and racial equity in Atlanta and authentically reach Black business owners in the community, this new branch focuses on programmatic solutions and local partnerships to improve members’ business income, credit scores, personal savings, and material hardship measures.
