Celebrating Milestones with Atlanta Entrepreneurs

In the heart of Atlanta’s thriving innovation ecosystem, a dynamic cohort of entrepreneurs has come together to build, grow, and break new ground as part of the Elevate by Grameen America initiative.

These driven individuals have achieved remarkable milestones, and learning about their successes from their perspectives is a powerful way to recognize their accomplishments while serving as a source of motivation and inspiration for other entrepreneurs. to that end, we asked the following simple question: "What is the goal or milestone you’ve achieved in your business that you’re most proud of?”

The milestone I’m most proud of in building Free Bleeders is successfully securing over $200,000 in donations since launching our nonprofit. For me, this achievement isn’t just about the number—it represents trust, belief, and investment in our mission to educate, advocate, and empower women living with rare bleeding disorders.

When I started, I knew the road wouldn’t be easy. As a woman, a veteran, and a founder stepping into the nonprofit space, I had to work tirelessly to prove that our community deserved attention, resources, and sustainable support. Every donation has been a vote of confidence that women with bleeding disorders matter, that their voices should be heard, and that their health and futures are worth fighting for.

This milestone tells me that our vision resonates. Those funds have allowed us to host retreats that foster healing and sisterhood, deliver educational programs like Bleed Out Loud, and build a supportive community where women feel seen, supported, and equipped to take charge of their health.

Raising $200K is proof that when passion meets persistence, impact follows. But most importantly, it’s just the beginning—I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m even more excited about the lives we’ll continue to change as we grow.”

One of the milestones I am most proud of is turning my vision for Kapree’s Healing Corner into a reality and creating a business that not only provides therapy services but also empowers people through self-care tools like journals, books, and healing products. Seeing clients and customers use these resources to improve their mental health and well-being reminds me why I started this journey. I’m proud that my business reflects both my passion for helping others heal and my commitment to building a sustainable brand that uplifts my community.
